Kat’s interest in corporate social responsibility began at a fairly young age. Like most millennials, she values transparency and social good in the products she buys and companies she supports. As a young professional with a business background, she also understands the economic value of eco-friendliness and social good within corporations. She came to Energy Project Advisors inspired by the mission of creating a greener world and providing unbiased, transparent resources to the energy industry.

With a background in nonprofit, Kat has gained a wealth of experience in the marketing arena. Her previous roles include internships with the Chicago Cubs and the McCormick Foundation, as well as leadership positions within MizzouThon, a Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals Dance Marathon program at Mizzou, her alma mater.

She values data-driven storytelling and understands how data can and should drive marketing strategy. Her primary focuses are copywriting, social media strategy and e-marketing. However, she also contributes to graphic design and copyediting.
Personally, she exercises her creative juices through maintaining a lifestyle blog and creating music. She’s an avid runner and cyclist, a loyal Chicago sports fan and an outdoors enthusiast. Kat believes in healthy doses of sarcasm, a realistically optimistic outlook on life and the healing power of chocolate.
